ORLANDO, Fla. — Author Kenneth R. McClelland announces the nationwide release of his new children’s book, “Another Chicken Story: The Stranger Danger.”
In “Another Chicken Story,” Mr. McClelland expresses that sadly, many children are still being led away by strangers who mean to do them harm. And while there are many ways to explain stranger dangers to a child, whatever adults have been doing hasn’t been effective enough, so Ken’s goal with “Another Chicken Story” is to tell a story that children will enjoy while learning a valuable lesson on safety. Parent and child alike will enjoy and benefit from this clever children’s tale.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, and direct from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
The author, who is happily married with five children and 12 grandchildren, is no stranger to little smiles and horsey-back rides. He was a Girl Scout leader for his daughter’s Brownie Troop, a counselor with the Children’s Home Society of Florida and is a proud member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
Though authoring books for bigger people, such as “The Slave’s Diary,” “The Pandemic Preparedness Guide” and “The Jade Lion” as well as an educational children’s picture book called “The ABCs of African American Inventions,” writing “Another Chicken Story” had a special meaning to Ken due to his love for children and his strong desire to keep them safe from harm.
The author is currently based in Orlando, Florida.
